The popular Destruction Derby (see website here) in the Thunderbird Stadium is a real crowd-pleaser and possibly one of the areas best kept secrets. “It’s thrilling, exciting. There’s lots of action,” said Michael Benson, 20, of Silverdale. “I want to go out there, be a driver.” “It’s a rush, a high,” said David Gould, who was flanked by his wife and children for the show.

Xtreme Bulls came back for its 8th year on August 22, 2012, bringing exciting levels of exposure to both the sport of bull riding and to the Kitsap Stampede & Rodeo.  Xtreme Bull riding fans enjoyed some of the most intense bull riding competition in professional rodeo.

Kitsap Haunted Fairgrounds  = Ghoulish good time!

Kitsap Haunted Fairgrounds attracts victims from Bremerton, Silverdale, Belfair, Port Orchard, Poulsbo, Seattle and beyond for the annual scare put on in October. If you haven’t made your way out here before, buckle up – you’re in for a ride through your darkest nightmares. The dates & times are listed below. The lights will be on from 5 to 6 p.m. for the younger crowd (The experience is rated PG-13, but organizers strongly encourages “skittish” people and families with young children to attend at this time). The lights are then turned off from 6 to 11 p.m. General admission tickets are $12 and VIP passes are $20, enabling buyers to go through twice and avoid any lines. Those who bring in a canned food donation for local food banks will get $1 off.
